DSAR Training Event

Date – Sunday 31 August 2025

Theme – Hazards and Riding Pillion; The theme of the training ride will be Hazards and a brief over view on pillion riding by our Training Coordinator Stan Hathaway.

Ride Leader – David Pengelly

Ride Sweeper – Rob Springthorpe

Ride Start – Costa Coffee, Junction 27 Samford Peverell Tiverton Devon EX17 7HD

Time – Arrive at 09:00 for ride briefing and be ready fully fuelled to depart at 09:30

Route – The route will be taking us through Milverton, Wimblball Lake (Coffee Stop), Wheddon Cross, Simonsbath, South Molton (Lunch Stop at the Honey Bee Farm), Eggesford, Winkleigh and Route End will be Bow near Crediton with the chance of a final coffee and cake at the Garden Centre.

A mixture of roads enabling us to experience first hand various hazards.
